Bellevue Community College Building D Renovation & Addition

The Bellevue Community College Building D Renovation is a major renovation of an existing two-story concrete structure. The current PCL contract is a complete renovation of the existing building and the addition of 18,844 square feet of new addition. The final building will be 97,755 square feet.

Contract work includes both select and mass demolition, site utilities upgrades, seismic upgrades through shear wall and drag strut installation, structural steel additions to the building and a complete build out of interior spaces including upgrading the existing MEP with new equipment. The original bid included the build out of the main entrance. Due to budget constraints with the State of Washington, this main entrance has been deleted from the contract. The owner is going to wait for demolition to be complete before adding this work back into the contract. Depending on the amount of changes required due to demolition, this entrance will either be re-designed as a more cost effective addition or will be added in as originally bid.
