Project Description
Bellevue Community College – New Parking Garage is a four-story, 720-stall parking structure, a multi-use transit waiting area structure, sidewalks, landscaping and ¼ mile of road paving. The 243,100 gross SF parking structure consists of reinforced concrete, glass, CMU, aluminum wall grilles, and is being built on a sloping site. The 1,000 SF transit waiting area structure is located on the western end of the parking garage and contains the elevator machine room, toilet room, and vending machines. This structure also serves as a new bus shelter. The garage is a post-tensioned structure with a moment frame lateral system and has been engineered to accommodate the addition of a future fifth level. The garage has three entry points; one on Level 1 (western façade), one on Level 3 (southern façade), and one on Level 4 (eastern façade). The garage is served by a two-cab elevator system with a three sided glass car and hoist way.
