Everett Events Center

The design-build project features an 8,250 seat ice arena, and a community/practice arena including seating, private boxes, and a club lounge.  In a design-build role, PCL was the only offeror to provide the entire program at the owner's budget.  After award, the owner added a 50,000 sf convention facility and upgraded the exterior facade of the building adding 20 percent to the scope of the project. The PCL design-build team integrated the changes into the design while maintaining the original schedule. The pre-cast structure features a cable-stayed roof, wtih two large "masts" that support two long span steel trusses.  The exterior of the building is brick and pre-cast concrete with large glass entries and windows. Support areas include complete food service facilities, concession stands, team facilities, and numerous restrooms. The city building includes 50,000 sf of meeting and convention space complete with a food service kitchen.
