Auburn Sound Transit Parking Garage

PCL, along with Integrus Architecture and CKC Engineers, were awarded this 602-car parking garage as the successful team in a design-build competition.
The structure is a composite system incorporating precast colums and beams with cast-in-place post-tensioned slabs. The facility also includes 14,000 sf of shell and retail space.
Built to provide parking for commuters using the Sounder Commuter Train. the garage is located adjacent to the train station, and construction had to accommodate the daily movement of train and pedestrian traffic.
