The East Valley High School adds 59 classrooms and labs and builds 1,392 two-semester seats for students in 9th - 12th grade. Construction of the school relieves overcrowding at Grant and North Hollywood high schools. The new high school sits on 5.4 acres and includes a library, student store, health office, food service, cafeteria, auditorium, gymnasium, dance classroom, choral classroom, music/ instrumental classroom, chemistry labs, biology labs, physical science labs, multi-media/ computer labs and administration offices.
Athletic fields and a swimming pool will be completed separately during Phase II and will add approximately 7 acres to the site.
