Mall of America

This 4.2 million sf retail mall houses 400-plus stores, night clubs, cinemas and a 16-ride amusement park. PCL was construction manager on the mall and the amusement park, managing contracts in excess of $215 million. The structure is a steel frame with lightweight concrete composite slabs. The amusement park structure is 12'-deep trusses spanning 120 feet. Exterior wall is EIFS panels and brick.
