Memorial Hospital East Tower

New hospital consisting of five (5) stories above grade and basement.  Project is designed to allow for two (2) additional stories.  A two (2) story centrally located public lobby and proposed garage connection.  A new structured ramp provides a covered area for 6-8 ambulances to access the Emergency Department at level one (1).  Demolition of the remaining portions of the existing hospital's front entrance to allow construction of a corridor at level one (1).  The existing ED will remain functional until the new ED can be opened up one level one (1) in Fall 2006.  The existing ED will then be demolished and the basement portion between the two (2) buildings will be excavated.
