Physical Fitness Center, Buckley Air Force Base

This design-build project consists of a 75,886 GSF structural steel frame with slab-on-grade/stemwall foundation, and slab on metal deck partial second level. The building envelope consists of split-face and burnished masonry veneer, metal panel siding, standing seam metal roofing and EPDM roofing. Interior spaces include men's and women's lockers/showers, a cardiovascular room, weight room, aerobics/exercise areas, racquetball courts, Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) and a gym with a suspended running track. Site work includes landscaping/irrigation amongst an array of standard and colored concrete flatwork in addition to asphalt paving areas accommodating eighty one (81) parking stalls as well as maintenance and emergency vehicle access to the building.
