Completed in the fall of 2009, the Florida Hospital – Adventist Kissimmee Medical Office Building project included the construction of a new 85,000-square foot, three-story medical office building located at Florida Hospital in Kissimmee, Florida. Outpatient services were expanded and relocated from the hospital to this new building, and include Lab, Imaging, Rehab and IV Therapy. The new Imaging Center offers digital mammography, 4-D ultrasound, CT scan, X-ray, DEXA and MRI.
The building is a steel structure with composite metal decks bearing on shallow spread concrete foundations. The building envelope consists of pre-engineered metal studs and an EIFS system. Aluminium framed windows, standing seam metal roofs, and thermoplastic membrane roofing complete the building envelope. Sitework includes the expansion of wet retention and dry retention ponds as well as a 475-stall asphalt parking lot with 14,000 square feet of decorative precast pavers.
