Kaiser Ontario Vineyard Parking Structure

This design-build, cast-in-place parking structure holds 1,514-cars on 7-levels and services the Kaiser Ontario Vineyard Medical Center in Ontario, California.  The parking structure is located next to the site of a new hospital. PCL worked closely with the client and hospital general contractor to ensure communication was open and effective. There was overlap of work area for both contractors so each firm had to have an understanding of each other's scope of work and challenges related to the limited access and laydown area. Honoring and coming through with agreed commitments and schedule resulted in a higher level of cooperation among the contractors and subtrades. PCL completed the parking structure two months ahead of schedule.
