The Ritz Carlton Residences are being constructed at Vail, one of the world's premier vacation destinations, located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The project includes a 564,000 square-foot shared unit complex, complete with health club facilities, Ritz club facilities, 117 living units, a swimming pool, saunas, and parking garages. The structure will include six levels above ground, three levels of parking below grade, and one level of shared parking and units at a walk-out terrace level.

The building will be constructed with precast concrete at lower levels, and post-tensioned cast in place slabs at upper level areas. The roof system will be framed with structural steel, and roofing is comprised of cement tile, copper flashing and roofing, and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) roof areas.

Construction will begin immediately and is scheduled to be complete by August 2010.
