Project Description

The building will provide a facility for the Buckley Air Force Base  ministry teams to use for religious worship, religious education, fellowship, pastoral care and other activities and functions in support of those primary uses.

This US Army Corps of Engineers design project consists of a 6.7 acre site for a 23,341GSF structural steel frame / load bearing masonry and steel stud walls with slab-on-grade / caisson / pile cap / grade beam foundation, and slab on metal deck "Baptistery Mezzanine". The building envelope consists of simulated stone veneer and stucco finish, translucent wall panels, standing seam metal roofing and Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) membrane roofing. Interior spaces include administrative support for Buckley AFB ministry teams to use for religious worship, religious education, fellowship, pastoral care and other activities and functions in support of those primary uses. Site work includes landscaping / irrigation amongst an array of concrete and decomposed granite walkways in addition to asphalt paving areas accommodating fifty four (54) parking stalls.
